Preservation encompasses a variety of ideas. While many people immediately think "historic" preservation, TOPP values preservation not only of physical structures that have cultural and educational significance, but also preservation of intangible ideas that define a place and the people who live there.

Research Aids

  • Phase 1 Survey of Oviedo Historic Properties (a study done in 2007 on all buildings 50 years or older)
  • Phase 2 Survey of Oviedo Historic Properties (a follow-up study done in 2008 - research area includes properties in Oviedo as well as some in unincorporated Seminole County)
  • Oviedo Circa 1960 (a book about what buildings were around in 1960, who lived there, architect, and a bit of history)
